"The old traditions and standards prevail ! Without exception, the staff are polite, helpful and go about their job quietly. This lovely hotel is always busy (which speaks for itself) and I have to say from experience, that it is (consistently) the best Sunday lunch in Torquay. A varied menu with starter, main course and dessert followed coffee served in the Bar. The Bar menu is very good and also offers a wide choice. I really admire Tim Rew for his warm hospitality and for maintaining excellent standards with...the food, the staff and the welcome. Management by example at it's very best!"
